Comrade Tambo’s London Recruits with Q&A
<div><b>In the late 1960’s and early 1970’s, at the height of apartheid, an international group of students and workers living in London answered Oliver Tambo’s secret call for undercover direct action. This film tells the story of the young men and women who risked all to bring Oliver Tambo’s message of hope to his embattled people in South Africa. Not everyone made it home.</b></div><div><br></div><div><u style="font-family: Outfit, sans-serif;">This screening will be followed by a Q&A with Steve Marsling, one of the London Recruits featured in the film.</u><br></div><div><br></div><div><div>Gordon is a first-time feature director, but as an award-winning TV producer / director / writer, Gordon Main has made over 40 TV documentary programmes in various genres for his own production company Barefoot Rascals Ltd. These programmes are distributed internationally and have sold all over the world.
